Clay is a public sector employee, but spends most of his free time preparing to be selected for the show. Note to the producers--his audition tapes for each season are the ones with the guy in the Scream mask.
He went on a plantain and rice diet for a few days, but decided it would be better to bulk up instead. Clay won, Succumb 2 - Key West, the contest most insiders consider to be the show's minor league. Two or three times per year, he does one-week trials to prepare in far-flung locales such as Las Vegas.
After paying his taxes on the million dollar prize, Clay plans to buy a paddle wheel boat and travel up and down the mighty Mississippi River.

When asked if he would like to actually be picked to play SURVIVOR (CBS). His answer at least once was "I'm Hungry".
Vince's ultimate wish in life is to play survivor fantasy and create more reality-based fantasy sites like this one.
